- Wat Yai Chai Mongkol
Wat Yai Chai Mongkol (or Mongkhon) is located a few kilometers southeast of Ayutthaya (island). You'll have to cross the Pridithamrong bridge out of the city. It obviously is one of the major temples in the Ayutthaya area, and both tourists and local worshippers visit the wat.

Wat Maha That or the Monastery of the great relic is located on the city island in the central part of Ayutthaya. Surrounded by canals and moats. The structure has been registered as a national historic site by the Fine Arts Department on 8 March 1935 and is part of the Ayutthaya World Heritage Historical Park.

Kanchanaburi is a land forever cloaked in history. Renowned across the globe for its famous WWII landmarks – Bridge over the River Kwai (Kwae) and the Death Railway – this westernmost province was used by the Japanese army as a strategic supplies route into neighbouring Burma and beyond. Enclosed by verdant forests, the Death Railway is, today, one of the most scenic rail routes in the country

The JEATH War Museum is one of two war museums in Thailand about the Death Railway built from 1942 to 1943 by Allied POWs under the direction of the Japanese, a part of the famous Thai-Burma railways.

This War Cemetery is also known as the Kanchanaburi War Cemetery. It is located opposite Kanchanaburi's Railway Station on Saengchootoe Road. It contains the remains of 6,982 Australian, Dutch and British war prisoners who lost their lives during the construction of the Death Railway
