Introduction

Thailand, the Land Of Smile presents you various festivals throughout the year in which you all can enjoy the variety of differences amongst exotic heritages in different parts across the Kingdom.

The country has inhabited three different seasons—summer, raining and winter. During winter, the northern region of Thailand becomes the most fantastic part to visit. The Winter Fair and Flora Festival  presenting inherited local culture usually draws a lot of people each year.

In every February, the Chinese New Year and Dragon Parade gratefully arranged by local Chinese descendants attracts a great number of travelers every year. In summer, one of the most popular and enjoyable festive seasons is Songkarn  Festival which is also a traditional Thai New Year day. The festival spreads joyful merriment all over the country by traditional water throwing and other fun-related activities. Both local residents and tourists are warmly welcome to this joyful event. Fantastic joys grow even more exciting in main tourist attractions, for instance, at Pattaya where floral floats and spectacular shows of colorful fireworks are held on the beach amidst starry nights.

As in tropical region, Thailand happens to be a place filled with variety of fruits for example: rambutan, durian, mongosteen and the like. Another elegant festival held in November on full moon night is Loi Krathong. Many places beside rivers and canals are adorned with shining lights, traditional floats and fireworks. We invite you to come and join our amazing cultural excitements and taste our warm hospitality in our Land of Smile.
